Privacy Policy
This page explains what data is collected when you visit Gold Expert FX Community, why it is collected, and how you can control it.
The short version
This website is a single landing page with one link on it. We do not run accounts, we have no login, and we do not ask you to fill in a form — so we never collect your name, email address, phone number or payment details. The only data collected is anonymous measurement data about how the page is used, described below.
Advertising and analytics: the Meta Pixel
We advertise this community on Facebook and Instagram, and the site includes the Meta Pixel (a small script provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.). When you visit, the pixel may record that a page was viewed and that the Telegram button was clicked, together with technical information your browser sends automatically — such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page and a cookie identifier. Meta may combine this with data it already holds about you if you have a Facebook or Instagram account.
We use it for two purposes only:
- to measure how many people who saw one of our ads went on to open the Telegram invite; and
- to avoid showing the same ad to people who have already joined, and to reach people with similar interests in forex and MetaTrader.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use the pixel to build profiles of individuals ourselves — we only ever see aggregated reports. Meta acts as an independent controller for the data it receives; its handling of that data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Meta Pixel sets cookies (typically _fbp) in your browser to recognise a returning visit. No other cookies are set by us. You can block or delete them at any time.
Your choices
- Browser controls — block or clear third-party cookies in your browser settings, or use private browsing.
- Tracking protection — most modern browsers and content blockers will stop the pixel from loading entirely. The site works normally without it.
- Ad settings — you can limit how Meta uses off-platform activity for advertising in the Meta Accounts Center ad preferences.
If you join the Telegram channel
Telegram is a separate service operated by Telegram Messenger Inc. Once you open the invite, your use of Telegram is governed by Telegram's privacy policy. Channel administrators can see the public profile information Telegram chooses to show them — typically your display name and username — and any messages you post in the group. Your phone number is not visible to us unless your own Telegram privacy settings allow it. You can leave the channel at any time, which removes you from the member list.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes standard server request logs (including IP addresses) for security and to deliver the page. See the Netlify privacy policy.
Retention and your rights
We hold no personal database of our own, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Measurement data held by Meta is retained according to Meta's own policies. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Requests relating to pixel data are best made directly to Meta through your account settings, since Meta holds the identifiers needed to action them.
Children
This site and our community are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Contact and changes
Questions about this policy can be sent to a channel administrator inside our Telegram community. If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
